What is Eye Level?
Eye Level is the key to self-directed learning. We nurture problem solvers, critical thinkers, and life-long learners.
Eye Level aims to provide your child's education based on his/her ability level and lead your child to grow in 'height' or ability/capability.
A premier supplemental education and enrichment program, Eye Level offers an innovative and effective teaching method, where self-directed learning, individualized learning, and critical thinking are the core of helping children improve and excel in their academic pursuits.
How do Eye Level instructors develop self-directed learning?
A self-directed learner is a student who takes charge of their own learning by setting goals, working towards achieving them, and bringing an endless source of knowledge when attempting any new activities.
Eye Level instructors encourage the development of self-directed learning by setting goals with students, establishing individualized lesson plans, adjusting those plans when appropriate, and providing routine academic coaching.
Self-directed learning ability develops within a student over a period of time (not instantly), so the longer the student is enrolled in Eye Level, the stronger his/her self-directed learning skills will become.
How do we teach Eye Level Maths?
Eye Level Math takes a very explanatory approach to learning mathematics.
Questions and concepts are illustrated and explained in many ways and with many examples to provide a good and solid understanding to the student before moving on to the actual mathematics practice.
The student will apply this understanding when answering the questions. This helps develop students' power of thinking.
How do we teach Eye Level English?
Eye Level English takes the explanatory and thematic approach to learn the English language.
Concepts are covered in topics; these concepts are illustrated and explained in many ways with many examples to provide a good and solid understanding when answering the questions.
